Our target competitions for the 2025/2026 season.
Formula Student France (Transpolis)
Our primary target for the inaugural season. Teams from across Europe compete in static and dynamic events over 4 days. This is where CNFS makes its debut.
Formula Student Germany
The largest and most prestigious Formula Student event in the world. Over 100 teams compete at the legendary Hockenheimring. A goal for our second or third season.
Formula Student UK
One of the oldest and most respected FS events, held at the home of British motorsport. An aspirational target as we grow.

Key dates in our journey from concept to competition.
Season Kickoff & Recruitment
Official launch of the 2025/2026 season. Open recruitment across all departments — mechanical, electrical, software, business, and marketing.
Concept Design Review
All departments present their initial concepts. The team selects the final design direction for chassis, powertrain, suspension, and aerodynamics.
Critical Design Review
Final design freeze. All CAD models, FEA simulations, and manufacturing plans are reviewed and approved. Production-ready drawings are released.
Manufacturing Begins
Chassis welding, component machining, composite layup, and electronics assembly begin in Centrale Nantes workshops.
Rollout & Shakedown
The car hits the ground for the first time. Systems integration, first fire-up, and initial shakedown testing. A landmark moment for the team.
Testing & Driver Training
Intensive testing programme: suspension tuning, engine mapping, brake balance, and driver training sessions ahead of competition.
Partner & Public Events
Opportunities to meet the team, see the car, and connect with CNFS.
Car Reveal Day
A public unveiling of the finished car for sponsors, university staff, and media. Includes technical presentations and networking.
Open Workshop Days
Monthly open-door sessions where sponsors and prospective members can visit the workshop, meet the team, and see progress first-hand.
End-of-Season Gala
Annual celebration for the team and partners. Presentation of results, recognition of sponsors, and planning for the next season.
